Shevantika’s new role comprises building and growing the company and also streamlining mental health practices
India, 9th August 2022: Mimblu, India’s first text-based mental healthcare app that helps users to connect with the right professional therapist, has announced the appointment of Shevantika Nanda as its Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO). The new role will witness her helping grow and build the company along with Yash Malhotra – Founder of Mimblu, as well as streamlining mental health practices.
Shevantika’s several years of rich experience working as a psychologist with various institutes, including The Shri Ram School, National Brain Research Centre, Medanta – the Medicity, and her deep-rooted expertise in this field will prove to be a substantial asset towards building the company’s long-term vision of becoming an end-to-end provider of mental health management solutions to the clients. Furthermore, her contribution will involve providing the other therapists with the right kind of support and bringing uniformity for the clients at Mimblu.
Founded by Yash Malhotra with the objective of helping people access affordable mental health care, Mimblu is an innovative platform that has introduced clinically-proven text therapy provided in-app. And to match up with the company’s vision and carry this forward, Shevantika endeavours to add a fresh perspective to Mimblu by innovating operations and enhancing execution excellence, thereby leading Mimblu to achieve great heights of success. She envisions making Mimblu synonymous with accessible mental health care.

Shevantika’s professional journey started as an assistant teacher, teaching psychology in The Shri Ram School. She received her M.A in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews and then completed her M.A in Psychology from the University of Delhi. Driven and passionate about her work, she is a queer affirmative therapist who has been running her private practice for 6 years now.
Her extensive training in cognitive and neuropsychology allows her to create evidence-based interventions for her clients, specifically those struggling with symptoms of ADHD, burnout, goal setting and achievement, and productivity challenges. Additionally, she uses a psychotherapeutic approach to help individuals tackle challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, and stress, among other things.
Besides this, she has contributed a chapter in the book – Covid-19 biopsychosocial perspectives – and regularly contributes to articles in The Hindu, Times of India and Mint Lounge, amongst others.
