Mobile retargeting platforms to seek more funding

SilverEdge Technologies Pvt Ltd, a Gurgaon based mobile retargeting platform operates as secondary to the brand SilverPush. The Hiro Mashita and the investment company raised around Rs.8.2Crore with M&S Partners.Contrary to this, Silver EdgeTechnologies, Nilazer and IDG Ventures raised an amount of $1.5 million through another round of funding.

The company had ample investment coming from Former Media Chief of Komli Mr. Prashant Mehta, OLX ex-CEO Fabrice Grinda and K Ganesh,the entrepreneur. The sequential round comprised of GSF Accelerator and the 500 Startups as investors .Last year,about $100,000 investment was made on startups. Startups charged the advertisers based on Cost per Click (CPC) while inventory is brought inventory on Cost thousand Impression or the (CPM) model from the Ad swaps.

Ad networks in Mobile such as Vserv and Inmobi provides the mobile retargeting platform. Silver Push on the other way merged with the ad exchanges like PubMatic and the AdIQuity.The round had participation coming from existing investors like IDG Ventures India and the Dave led incubator and the other 500 Startups. The firm includes HNI’s as Mr. Prashant Mehta from Komli Media, Fabrice Grinda from OLX and Mr. Krishnan Ganesh representing Tutor Vista as angel investors. The latest round proceedings will have new product launched. The product PRISM as a platform measures the television ratings among brands.

PRISM, was co-Founded in 2012 by Mudi Seth and Hitesh Chawla, Silver Edge as an advertising company uses the Silver Push platform to allow the consumer brands to trail its users across mobile web and the apps. The company’s clientele includes Dominos, Samsung, Airtel and Toyota, with its office at San Francisco.

The company being part of various incubation consignments of GSF Accelerator and the 500 Investor Startups has received $100K in total from the incubators.
