2020 has been the year of learning. We learned to adjust and move on. Pringles brand and its iconic mascot, Mr. Pringle, is not any exception. Pringles has updated a fresh, new look that features a bold and clean design, highlighting the crisps’ varied flavors and unique, catchy shape.
To complement the can’s fresh look, Pringles has updated its old classic mascot to spotlight the flavors in every can and showcase its new range of emotions to match. With a much cooler look including a more dynamic mustache, sharper necktie, sparkling eyes, and expressive eyebrows, Mr. P’s “Glow Up” puts the main target on the compelling taste in every Pringles can.
“We invested our last couple of years on research to bring in a replacement for the cans and Mr. P’s style that showcases the bold flavor of Pringles,” commented Gareth Maguire, Senior Director of Selling for Pringles. “I’m happy to share that the new look doesn’t change the unique taste that’s always been there within every Pringles can”, he added.
Pringles partnered with Victor Cruz, America’s football champion to celebrate the brand evolution and help launch national sweepstakes giving fans the prospect to win their end of 2020 “glow up” – just in time for the vacations.
“Just like Mr. P, I’ve spent the last few years evolving – from football champion to global personality with a passion for style,” said Victor Cruz. “I’ve always loved the taste because the Pringles brand taste matches the fresh flavors I like. I feel the ‘Get Fresh As Mr. P’ is the perfect way to kickstart the New Year and provides yourself that private “Glow Up,” whatever which will mean for you.” The refreshed logo and brand design are available on Pringles’ new Scorching line arriving online and in stores in December, and across all other platforms in early 2021.
