Bengaluru (India): Careernet, India’s leading talent solutions provider, and My Careernet, an initiative by Careernet and HirePro, are set to organise the third edition of CareerTech – ‘CareerTech 3.0, The Guardians of the Cyber Battlefield’. This 12-hour hackathon is open to experienced professionals with a strong background in Cybersecurity and Information Security. To participate in the virtual challenge, candidates should have at least 2 years of work experience in the field and possess a broad range of key skills, including expertise in firewall management, Akamai, malware detection, application security, threat hunting, Python programming, incident response, ethical hacking, wireless security, risk management frameworks, endpoint security, and network protocols. Registration is open till September 20th, 2024.
Leading employers such as Commonwealth Bank and Cargill, seeking cybersecurity and information security professionals, are partnering with CareerTech 3.0.
The challenge is happening virtually, making it accessible from anywhere in India, thereby providing flexibility and convenience to participants. The challenge is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024, and will be conducted in an online assessment format. Following the assessment, participants’ performance reports will be shared with the partnering employers, providing them with valuable insights into their skills and abilities.
The top performers may get a chance to grab a job with a salary of Rs. 10 Lakhs and above and prizes worth Rs. 50,000 which includes tech gadgets.
Interested candidates can register for this online challenge free of cost via the MyCareernet platform. Careernet will reward three top scorers with prizes and goodies. Profiles and performance reports of all participants will be shared with the participating employers. If an employer expresses interest in a candidate’s profile, they will be contacted later.
