As India’s first bedroom essentials brand, MyMuse is on a mission to make intimacy easy, approachable, and fun for Indians everywhere. MyMuse creates high-quality, well-designed products for your intimate spaces and content that’s informative and real. 
The brand is all about celebrating and elevating the bedroom experience, with beautifully designed products that are discreet, body-safe, and pleasurable. 
MyMuse believes that the products used in the bedroom matter. And that sexual wellness should no longer take a backseat- because it’s an important part of your mental, physical and emotional well-being. 
MyMuse was founded by a young married couple, Anushka & Sahil Gupta, who felt that it was about time Indian society opened up to conversations and products around the sexual experience. Tired of brown-paper bags shrouded in shame, they wanted to create a modern sexual wellness brand for Indians that’s relatable, accessible, and above all, fun. 
“It was really awkward in the beginning telling our families and friends about what we were working on. But we soon realized that the more we normalized it, the more people started opening up. Sometimes you have to give others the benefit of the doubt, and push yourself too.” says Sahil, co-founder of MyMuse. 
Across the intersection of health, pleasure, and lifestyle, MyMuse offers a curated approach to bedroom essentials, plus informative and educational content. 
They offer a variety of products which include: Pulse, a sleek personal massager that ‘hits all the sweet spots.’ Glide, a water-based personal jelly that ‘keeps you moving and grooving.’ Glow, a massage oil that ‘gets you in the mood.’ And Spark, a soy-based scented candle that ‘lights the fire within.’ 
The brand has differentiated itself by providing a thoughtful and premium experience, in terms of everything from ingredients, to packaging, to customer service. 
“From the get-go, a few things were paramount when building our brand: Crafting a voice that is inclusive, friendly, and approachable. Not shying away from taboo subjects, but still respecting cultural sensitivities that exist in our society. And above all, keeping content and awareness at our core.” says Anushka, co-founder of MyMuse 
The name is inspired by the idea of being your own Muse – finding inspiration in yourself, your surroundings, and your actions. Or in the idea of finding your Muse – your point of connection in another person, place, or thing. This inherently translates to the idea of pleasure, intimacy, and connection in a deep way, and is something MyMuse works to constantly epitomise. 
When asked about what their eureka moment was, Sahil and Anushka said, “We didn’t really have one eureka moment. It was a lot of little things working together– from the idea, the journey, to the response. The more we learned, the more ‘eureka moments’ we had, all moving us to create a brand that celebrates sex in all its beautiful, messy glory. Talking to friends, family, and doing customer research all convinced us that India was ready for a new-age intimacy brand.”
