To actively engage with its thriving cohort of Gen-Z customers in the nation, Myntra announces the beginning of its College Campus Ambassador program. This is a part of Myntra StyleCast’s two-part Creators Campaign, which aims to unite the uber-hip Gen-Z who are passionate about fashion and can spread the word about new, reasonably priced styles on StyleCast within their spheres of influence, such as circles on campuses. The campaign is being led by more than 1000 influencers overall. With this initiative, Myntra hopes to increase opportunities for young fashion enthusiasts in the content creation sector while maintaining its position as India’s top shopping destination and authority on all things fashion. The latter offers the chance to gain experience in content creation through mentoring and direction from well-known macro Myntra Style Squad influencers, as well as the opportunity to be featured on Myntra’s live commerce offerings, Myntra-Studio and M-Live, and social media channels to give their content creation endeavor the best possible start.
Myntra StyleCast, a separate app section, debuted in December 2021 and featured 7000 styles. During the current 16th edition of EORS, StyleCast is providing the cohort with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience from leading international and domestic brands for the Gen-Z milieu, including the likes of Urbanic, H&M, Forever 21, Missguided, Zalora, Bebe, and Trendyol among a host of other notable brands. StyleCast has scaled its offerings by 5X since launch to over 35,000 styles. Influencers who join forces with the campaign platform have access to various Instagram-worthy goods and the chance to be featured on Myntra’s hugely popular social media platforms and applications, which also helps them grow their fan bases.
Students from some of the top colleges and universities in the nation, including Indian Institute of Art & Design, Pearl Academy, NIFT, Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, Mount Carmel College in Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, and Symbiosis Institute of Design in Pune, are represented by the Myntra StyleCast Campus Squad. These students range in age from 17 to 21. The faces of Myntra on each of their respective campuses are these campus ambassadors. These college influencers will significantly increase FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) regarding the Myntra StyleCast collection among their college circles because they are among the most excellent and most stylish students everyone looks up to for their youthful and edgy fashion sensibilities. Myntra has strengthened this ever-expanding army by producing content on topics like body positivity and inclusion for their social media channels to raise awareness and interest in Myntra StyleCast.
Campus influencers are chosen by Myntra based on their appeal to the Gen-Z audience, their standing in the content creation sector, their propensity for cutting-edge style, and their diversity and reach. Over this year, Myntra hopes to generate over 250 million social media impressions through the Campus Ambassador program.
