Mr. Ashish Bajaj has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer of Narayana Health, a well-known chain of healthcare facilities, it was announced today. From MediBuddy, where he oversaw the Marketing, Partnerships, and PR verticals, Ashish has joined Narayana Health. He will be in charge of developing a complete marketing strategy at Narayana Health that is in line with the organization’s growth vision.
Mr. Viren Shetty, Executive Vice Chairman of Narayana Health, commented on the hiring, saying, “We are pleased to welcome Ashish to the Narayana Health family. Ashish will oversee the end-to-end marketing strategy for Narayana Health in his role as a chief marketing officer. Additionally, he will be in charge of the company’s CRM, branding, public relations, and patient engagement programs, including institutional, retail, and digital marketing.

Ashish has more than a decade of experience running the marketing department for businesses in the healthcare and start-up sectors. Ashish is a dynamic professional who previously oversaw Marketing, Partnerships, and PR in addition to creating B2C subscription businesses, managing income through channel partners, and spearheading new user acquisition efforts. Before joining Medibuddy, Ashish worked for ANI Technologies (Ola Cabs) as the International Media Head and Brand Alliance Head, where he was in charge of developing the Go To Market strategy for several domestic and international launches for Ola Cab categories. In the past, he had worked for Microsoft and Maxus India. He graduated from the IILM Institute for Higher Education and has received numerous accolades.
He was the first person from India to represent India in the Young Lions Media competition in Cannes, the first person from India to win the Media Gold Medal at Young Spikes Asia in Singapore for developing a media strategy for the World Health Organization, and most recently, he was named Marketer of the Year by CMO Asia and National Feather.
