Netflix partners with GOBELINS L’école de L’image to bring virtual masterclasses at IFFI 2021

Mumbai, November 16, 2021: Netflix in partnership with GOBELINS L’école de L’image, one of the leading global education institutes for animation will be hosting exciting masterclasses at the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa from November 20-28th. IFFI returns in a hybrid format this year and includes an exciting line-up of speakers, screenings and panel discussions to cater to a wider audience. The masterclasses will span three days focussing on the nuances of short films, this will cover topics like importance of short films, its value among producers and how to tell compelling stories. 

The faculty will include Cecile Blondel, Head of International Development at GOBELINS L’école de L’image where she teaches visual storytelling. She has studied and worked in the field of history of art over a number of years. Vajra Pancharia, director of short film Blue Curry, is also a part of the faculty. He is the recipient of the Best Graphic Design Award at the HP Master of Shorts at the prestigious Cannes International Film festival 2017 for the short film Tube light.

Those interested to enrol in the master classes can register through IFFI’s website. The fee is covered under the registration charges, which is priced at INR 200. IFFI is a landmark event that draws interest across a large audience segment and we believe that this offers a great platform for those who also want to learn and hone their skills.
