Neurobion Forte celebrates Nerve Health Awareness Week

Neurobion Forte, India’s No. 1 Doctor-recommended Nerve Care brand, has launched a new ‘Feel Life’ campaign to commemorate Nerve Health Awareness Week, emphasising the need of recognising early indicators of nerve damage to allow for prompt diagnosis.

Last year, P&G Health commissioned Heal Health & Hansa Research to conduct the ‘P&G Nerve Health Survey’ to assess public awareness and attitudes toward nerve health. The goal was to determine the current degree of understanding of Nerve Health. The poll results revealed a lack of knowledge about nerve health, with consumers mistaking nerve injury symptoms for muscle or blood circulation disorders.

The ‘Neurobion Forte Feel Life’ campaign was inspired by the symptoms experienced by those suffering from nerve damage, highlighting how those suffering from the condition are unable to experience the same joy and delight when going about their daily activities, negatively impacting their ability to get things done and, as a result, their emotional well-being.

“Our campaign film aims to educate consumers about how there is more to life than numbness, tingling, and burning sensations in the hands and feet (all of which can be symptoms of nerve damage), reinforcing how early diagnosis can help one ‘Feel Life’ again and embrace the simple joys that come with it,” the company says. The campaign also features the #FeelLifechallenge, a social media experience activity in which the audience is urged to participate in the challenge by dipping their hands in ice water for a brief period of time before attempting to execute one of their favourite everyday activities. The goal is to understand how nerve injury symptoms manifest themselves by experiencing numbness and tingling.

The campaign will use P&G Health’s network of specialists for scientific talks, diagnostic workshops, Nerve Talk programmes, and on-the-ground nerve health camps, as well as a purple ribbon as a visual identifier, to promote public awareness of Nerve Health and encourage early detection and treatment.
