New 3 Series Gran Limousine introduced by BMW India

BMW India has launched the new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine. The new car will be manufactured at the Chennai BMW Group plant for the Indian market and will be available in petrol and diesel variants at all BMW India dealerships. Compared to other variants of the BMW 3 Series family, the Gran Limousine has a longer wheelbase. 

The new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine adds an extra 110mm wheelbase. The exterior length of the car is 4,819mm and the wheelbase is 2,961mm.  

The longer body ensures larger rear doors, resulting in more legroom with more cabin space. The car comes with a panorama glass sunroof, front comfort seats, bespoke ‘Vernasca’ leather upholstery, parking assist with a reverse assist, ambient lighting, BMW live cockpit professional, and wireless charging.  

The company claims that the new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is available in two design schemes – the Lux Line and the M Sport ‘First Edition’, which are only in the launch stage. Additional features of the M Sport ‘first edition’ include a 360-view BMW head-up display, BMW gesture control, comfort access, and surround-view cameras, including a top, panorama, and 3D view.  

The new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is available in one diesel variant (BMW 320LD Luxury Line) and two petrol variants (BMW 330L Luxury Line and BMW 330L S Sport ‘First Edition). Ex-showroom Prices are –

The new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine is available in four metallic paintworks: Mineral White, Melbourne Red, Carbon Black, and Kashmir Silver. Upholstery combinations include Leather Vernaca Cognac, Black, and Oyster Black. 

The car gets 480 liters of boot space with automatic tailgate operation. The M Sport ‘First Edition’ boot lid offers completely hands-free functionality. 

The two-liter four-cylinder petrol engine of the BMW 330L produces 258 hp output and 400 Nm of maximum torque at 1,550 – 4,400 rpm. The company claims that it can reach 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. The two-liter four-cylinder diesel engine of the BMW 320LD produces 190 hp output and 400 Nm of maximum torque at 1,750 – 2,500 rpm. BMW claims that the diesel variant can reach a top speed of 0-100km / h in 7.6 seconds.  

The new BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine offers an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission, steering wheel paddle shifters, and cruise control with braking function.
