Oct 29, 2012: As per the reports coming in, car manufacturers like Honda, GM, Hyundai and Tata Motors are gearing up to launch new diesel hatchback models soon in the Indian market. GM is introducing a premium model, Chevrolet Sail U-VA model,which will be their second model in diesel after Beat. Hyundai is planning for a diesel version of i10, where as Tata Motors is gearing up for a Nano with 800 cc engine. Honda is also expected to make its debut in this diesel hatchback segment with Brio diesel.
