The latest model of the smartphone Zero 8i was launched by smartphone brand Infinix in India. The launch stands out from the rest of them due to the communications built around it. The new model contains a combo of great features at a friendly price for the consumers. The new smartphone contains all the features of a smartphone with improvement from the camera, the storage capacity, the display, etc. The ad for the phone speaks about the physical durability of the phone rather than its features. In today’s time, the physical durability of the smartphone for its marketing is not common.
One of the films released by the brands showcases that two siblings trying to break the phone while the other shows the phone’s ability to survive in extreme temperature. In both, films the brand tries to mention to us that the new phone has passed the ‘12 tough quality check’. But then there rises a question of whether durability a basic hygiene factor when it comes to a product for day-to-day use? This is also the time when players in the big smartphone segment were finding it hard to pitch new brand hooks to the customers. On December 9 Zero 8i will go on sale through Flipkart. Itel caters to the main aim to feature phone cum entry-level smartphone segments, while Tecno focuses on users maturing smartphone users. Like Nokia, Xiaomi among others who all have dominated the market segment, the three brands are trying to create their place in this market segment.
Transsion Group brands registered 73% YoY growth in Q3 of 2020 according to the latest counterpoint research report. The report also suggests that three brands had a strong presence in rural India and Tire ¾, in the overall handset market it had captured the fourth position. The launch of the new smartphone has made the consumers especially the young ones to go crazy. The phone is depicted with additional features that make it far surpass the previous ones. Most the smartphone is not physically durable sine they easily break soon after falling to the ground compared to the older version of the mobiles but this version has attained both the physical and the digital features of the smartphone which hits the top spot of the consumers.
