The company has revealed the new Nissan Magnite SUV in phases. The details that went into the public have everything but the price of the car, and the company has decided on a date for the official launch of the car in India. The new Nissan will be officially launched in India along with the information about the price on 2nd December. Nissan India has planned to put a high price on the new car so that they can capture a portion of the high demand in the segment. The new Nissan is about to go up against Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and the newly launched Kia Sonet. Nissan is expected to undercut Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet by price while they try to appeal to the buyers through their wide features.
The company has started the procedure of booking the car. Interested buyers can register on the company’s website or they can contact Nissan dealership. It has been clarified that the compact SUV will be available in four variants XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. The new car will be available in 9 body colors, four dual-tone shades, and five monotones and it will also have L-shape LED Daytime Running, a gaping front grille and the front fascia gets lightsaber-style turn indicators.
For the interiors the Nissan Magnite gets a horizontal instrumental panel structure, tech pack will also be available in the car with additional features like a wireless charger, puddle lamps, air purifier, mood lighting, and premium speakers. It will also contain 60-40 split foldable seats. The company claims that SUV is the most spacious B-SUV with a huge ‘couple distance’ of 700mm + rear knee room of 593mm + rear headroom of 76mm. The compact SUV gets 336 liters of space in terms of boot capacity. The dashboard of the car is a 7-inch TFT meter with animation portraying welcome, a tire pressure monitoring system, 8-inch infotainment display with a full flesh touchscreen. In terms of the engine, the car will have two options. The first option is a naturally aspirated 1-liter engine that provides a 72ps power of output and torque of 92nm. The other option is a 1-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine gives a maximum power of 100ps and torque of 160nm. This engine is also available with an X-Tronic CVT gearbox. There is no news about diesel engines for the compact SUV.
