Dec 5, 2012: In a major technological advancement a Japanese Lab ‘PARTY’ has come out with a new technology which will from now on allow users to print their own 3-D avatars. The technology named ‘OMOTE 3D SHASHIN KAN’ allows users to print their avatars of 10 to 20 cms high and it costs $500 for a digital avatar. People who would like to get a figurine can get it in a months time once they turn up in their photo booth for a photo session. The new technology allows detail images of a person to be taken and then these pictures are converted into a mould after which touching up is done.
