Bangalore: Nuvepro, provider of upskilling solutions for software engineers and data scientists, aims to train over one lakh professionals in Generative AI through its workshop series this year. 
In the past two months, it has provided hands-on training to over 1000 professionals in its workshops, designed to equip data scientists, developers, AI enthusiasts, and professionals across various sectors with practical skills to excel in the dynamic field of Gen AI. These workshops prepare professionals with hands-on experience to tackle real-world Gen AI challenges.


“The need to upskill and adopt generative AI technologies has become critical across industries to increase revenue, reduce costs, improve productivity, and manage risks efficiently. Our workshops, in collaboration with AWS experts, ensure participants gain the skills and confidence needed in their respective fields. Recent research indicates that 60% of the workforce lacks the necessary skills. 
Nuvepro’s GenAI initiatives witnessed 83% of participants gaining valuable insights and practical experience with Amazon’s Q. Participants firmly believe that hands-on learning is the most effective approach to achieving job readiness. The momentum continued with the second workshop exploring advanced GenAI capabilities using Amazon’s Bedrock models, attracting more eager participants looking to master Gen AI.

In the third workshop, the focus shifted to building customized applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Nearly 97% of participants found hands-on learning through virtual labs and simulations far superior to traditional tutorials or self-paced courses. 
Based on attendee responses and experiences, about 35% claimed that hands-on learning helped them secure a new role in their career, while 28% found it helpful in obtaining a new project. All attendees now utilize Gen AI coding tools, and 47% have used the Gen AI tool, GitHub.

A significant 85% of participants found Nuvepro’s hands-on learning workshop helpful in their current job, and 88% consider hands-on learning through virtual labs or simulations practical for upskilling in Gen AI. 
Building on this success, Nuvepro launched a new workshop on creating personalized AI assistants using AI agents.
