New Delhi, 02 June 2021: Okinawa Autotech, one of India’s fastest-growing electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer companies, has initiated a program to train its dealers and partners about the maintenance of electric scooters amidst the lockdown. Due to the pandemic, most of the workshops are operating with a minimum workforce which leads to a pile-up of work on the technical front. At the same time, the company aims to educate and aid Okinawa customers to take care of their electric scooters (and batteries) correctly so as to ensure their long life even when they might be parked idle at their homes.
The training is being imparted once a week on a virtual platform with participation from dealers across the country. The weekly training is mostly led by Service Head and Sales Head from Okinawa. Whereas, a pre-planned Central PAN India Dealers’ Workshop (Practical Training) takes place once a quarter in the presence of the management team. If any dealer faces technical issues, there’s a flexibility to conduct a separate video call session. In case any further assistance is needed, the company arranges for a service engineer visit.
Jeetender Sharma, MD & Founder, Okinawa Autotech Pvt Ltd. said, “The lockdowns have had an inevitable impact on both – the business as well as the customers. In these testing times, we would like to ensure that neither the dealers nor the customers face any issues with the scooters. In order to do so, we started with these workshops this month, and have been consistently communicating with our dealers and partners to assist them in every possible way. ”
