The next Ola electric scooter will be released in India on August 15th, Independence Day. The firm has disclosed one intriguing aspect of the e-scooter ahead of its formal introduction. In the most recent video, the firm stated that its electric scooter would include a reverse option.
It should be noted that this function is not entirely new in luxury electric scooters in India, as Ather Energy and TVS also provide it in their electric scooters. Furthermore, Bhavish Aggarwal, Group CEO and Chairman of Ola said that bookings for the company’s forthcoming electric scooter had come in from over 1,000 cities and towns. Ola Electric previously announced that their electric scooter got an astounding 1 lakh booking in only 24 hours, and the response has been nothing short of spectacular. Only time will tell how many of those bookings are converted into real sales. The Ola electric scooter will be delivered to the customer’s door. Bhavish added that Ola Electric will deliver and serve customers across India from day one. The forthcoming Ola electric scooter will most likely have a peak speed of 100 km/h and a range of 150 km on a single full charge. In terms of features, the e-scooter will have the largest under-seat storage in the class as well as mobile app-based keyless entry.
The electric scooter will also include a colorful TFT display and dual LED projector headlights.
