Ola surpasses 27000 unit sales in March’23; consolidates market share to over 30%

Bengaluru, 31st March, 2023: Ola Electric, India’s largest electric vehicles company emerged as India’s best-selling and the fastest-growing EV manufacturer in financial year 2022-23. Maintaining its growth trajectory, Ola Electric clocked its best month ever in March, surpassing 27000 units sale, while topping the sales charts for 7 consecutive months.

While last year has been successful in making EV’s mainstream, the next couple of years will take the EV revolution to humanity scale, and Ola will be at the forefront of this revolution to lead this paradigm shift.” 

Ola Electric has been on a spree to open Experience Centers (ECs) across India to enhance accessibility and cater to the growing demand of electric vehicles in India. The company has more than 400 Experience Centers across India and has recently expanded its offline footprint by adding 50 more EC’s across key cities, in a single day. These centers are designed to offer a comprehensive range of services to customers at a single location. Almost 90% of Ola’s customers live within 20kms of an Ola Experience Centre. 

Furthermore, Ola has recently expanded the S1 portfolio range to 6 models. Powered by 2KWh, 3KWh and 4KWh battery packs, Ola launched 3 new variants of the Ola S1 Air which will be delivered starting July 2023. The company has also launched the newest variant for the Ola S1 family, which uses a 2KWh battery which is best suited for city commute. 

Ola’s constant market leadership throughout months, is a testimony of Ola’s quest towards achieving its vision of transitioning all 2-wheelers in India to electric by 2025.
