Oppo has announced the availability of the new Enco X fully wireless earbuds on January 18. The event scheduled to take place next week will see the unveiling of the Reno 5 Pro 5G smartphone in India, but the company is not letting the product go on its own. It is also releasing its latest TWS earbuds, introduced in China last year. The Enco X TWS earbuds are a major upgrade over the Enco W51 and Enco Free earbuds and feature Dynaudio and active noise cancellation.

In a trailer starring Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, the upcoming Enco X showcases true white wireless earbuds. But these earbuds come with a variety of color options: Nocturne and Beige. In the Chinese New Year, the company also introduced the Red Paint version with ring designs. Oppo has released the HeyMelody Android app, which will make it easy to connect and monitor Oppo’s completely wireless earbuds. The TWS earbuds have a small size in an oval-shaped charging shell, a style that resembles the Oppo MP3 player sold in China years earlier.

Oppo Enco X earbuds have been launched at CNY 999 in China. This price converts to approximately Rs 11,000. With this price, the Enco X will clash directly with the Apple AirPods and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live in India.

The Oppo Enco X TWS earbuds use Bluetooth v5.2 to connect with a computer. You will connect your earbuds with an Android phone using the HeyMelody software. These earbuds have 11mm dynamic drivers inside, which are said to create a bass tone. Oppo argues the earbuds have a frequency range between 20Hz to 20kHz. The earbuds support LHDC, AAC, and SBC codecs along with noise cancelation support, standard and ambient modes from the app. The noise cancelation itself has two modes: the maximum noise cancelation and the normal noise cancelation on the earbuds. There are two microphones available to allow the cancelation of active noise. TWS earbuds have water and dust protection with IP54 certification.

The Oppo Enco X charging case has a 535mAh battery inside, while each earbud has a 55mAh battery. The company estimates that a single charge on the earbuds will provide 4 hours of music playback with a max active noise cancelation mode switched on, whilst the charging case is 20 hours. Otherwise, when the ANC is off, the firm says that the earbuds will last up to 25 hours with the charging case. According to the company, it takes about 110 minutes for the charging case to be fully charged while the earbuds take about 80 minutes.
