This year, Oppo may take a detour from its true launch period for the F-series. A recent study indicated that Oppo keeps the name of F19 for its next F-series phones, although F21 will also live. There are expected to be two smartphones in the F19 range, the F19, and the F19 Pro, depending on the previous releases. However, on the Google ARCore list of eligible smartphones, a brand-new device has been spotted and it could be the high-end F19 series model. Alongside the F19 and F19 Pro, Oppo could also launch the F19 Pro+ this year.

The Oppo F19 Pro+ device has been certified in the Google ARCore repository, according to a study by MySmartPrice. Although this definitely confirms the existence of this system, the listing also suggests that Augmented Reality-driven applications with Google’s ARCore library integration will be enabled by the F19 Pro+. The support for top-class AR services can also suggest that the F19 Pro+ would have a stronger chipset and GPU than the other two F19 series phones you would expect to have. All in all, this smartphone could be a phone that is thoroughly spruced up.

OPPO F19 pro+ Launch

The report further states that, in compliance with the staggered launch cycle, Oppo can carry the F19 Pro+ to markets. This basically suggests that Oppo will first launch the F19 and F19 Pro, while the F19 Pro+ release will follow. Oppo has not yet confirmed any of these devices yet, so it is not clear whether or not these assumptions would be true.

Even, at the moment, the Oppo F19 Pro+ specifications are not available. But Oppo may opt for a MediaTek chipset for the F19 Pro+ if previous F-series phones are anything to go by. While the F19 Pro+ does not have a counterpart, the specs of the F17 Pro may be a good indication. The F17 Pro is powered by a medium-range MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, which was among the successful ones. But a year later, we have MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets that not only offer major enhancements to Helio processors but also unleash 5G power on the phone. This could mean that there will be 5G access for the F19 Pro+.

Other parts of the F19 Pro+ specs include fast charging support, although not as high as what comes with the Reno series, improved cameras with enhanced night photography, and ColorOS 11 under the hood, based on Android 11. On the other hand, the F19 Pro is rumored to come with a 10X lossless zoom telephoto sensor. We can expect an even more capable telephoto camera since the F19 Pro+ is expected to be a better-specified phone than the F19 Pro. Or maybe, to take it up a notch, Oppo could add a periscope camera into the mix.
