Mastering tech and leading the path into the video revolution, OPPO, the world’s leading smart device brand, is all set to unleash its videography specialist, Reno5 Pro 5G, in the Indian market on 18 January 2021. The Reno5 Pro 5G will be India’s first power-packed smartphone to be powered by the industry-first AI Highlight Video feature combined with MediaTek‘s flagship-level chipset-Dimensity 1000+.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G was introduced in China at the beginning of December last year and comes in two configurations. The 8GB + 128GB version is priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 38,200) and the 12GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 3,799 GB (roughly Rs. 42,700). The Oppo phone is available in three color options: Aurora Blue, Moonlight Night, and Starry Night.
The specification for the Indian edition of the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is expected to be the same as the Chinese version. The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 at the top. It boasts a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1.080×2.400 pixels) OLED curved display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 92.1 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 402-pixel density. The phone is also featured by ARM G77 MC9 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM. The configuration of the phone can vary for the Indian market.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G has a quad rear camera configuration that includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait shooter with f/2.4 lens. For selfies, you’ll get a 32-megapixel camera housed in a hole-punching cut out on the top left corner of the screen. The industry’s first AI Highlight Video feature in the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G brings portrait video quality a few points higher. Aimed to produce transparent and vivid videos under all lighting environments, the AI Highlight Video feature automatically senses light levels in the scene, and intelligently improves video quality via the Ultra Night Video and Live HDR algorithm.
As per the market trend, OPPO is launching the first 5G phone of the Reno series in India, which is designed to deliver an exemplary video experience in any lighting situation that is truly ‘Live The Infinite.’ With its debut on 18 January 2021, OPPO will take the lead in redefining the innovation frontiers in the video segment.
