By noticing its contribution towards promoting sustainable growth in agriculture and programs, and was honoured with the Outstanding Sustainable Farmer Income Enhancement (Mid Corporates) Award at Agri Summit & Awards organized by FICCI on 18th November 2021.
The theme of the summit is Envisioning Smart and Sustainable Agriculture brought the policymakers and the value chain players on a common platform to thorough practical and scalable strategies for smart and sustainable agriculture.
Different participants discussed and recommended practical ways to promote and adopt the best practices for sustainable agriculture on a large scale and to create awareness of existing solutions available to follow smart agriculture.
Dr. Ashok Dalwai, CEO, NRAA, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt of India handed the award to Balram Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Organic India, for the extraordinary contribution towards the development of sustainable agriculture practices contributed to increasing farmer’s income.
Expressing the joy of receiving the award, Balram Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Organic India, said, “Organic India is pledged to improve the livelihood of Indian small and marginal farmers by inspiring, promoting, and supporting true health and respect for all beings and Mother Nature.
Singh also added, “Our main focus is always on doing business feasibly and establishing an ecologically liveable model. Our growth is aimed at developing policies of the government that are empowering the entire industry. Therefore, this fame gives a huge boost to our confidence.”
