Out-of-hospital care provider HCAH continues to expand its footprint across India

Noida, December 12, 2023: HCAH, India’s leading out-of-hospital care provider, continues to make significant advancements in its growth journey by expanding its services across different regions. In its ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in major metro cities, the company announced the inauguration of its seventh Transition Care Centre (TCC) in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. HCAH offers a comprehensive range of rehabilitation and geriatric services to patients nationwide, prioritizing the provision of affordable healthcare solutions that cater to their needs.

Presently, HCAH boasts the largest chain of Transition Care Centres in the country, with 325+ beds spread across multiple cities. Over the next five years, HCAH aims to increase the number of transition beds to 2500 and expand its services through further integration of technology.

The establishment of the new TCC is a response to the escalating demand for high-quality healthcare in India. The rehabilitation care market, valued at $32 billion, is growing at a CAGR of 30%. The transition care market plays a crucial role in meeting the demands of this expanding rehabilitation market. HCAH India is committed to addressing this need and developing a comprehensive healthcare delivery model that encompasses the entire care continuum. Emphasizing quality and bringing innovation to the sector, HCAH TCCs became the first of their kind in India to receive QAI accreditation and offer insurance for out-of-hospital care.

With the recent acquisition of Nightingales, HCAH solidified its position as the country’s largest out-of-hospital care provider and established its presence in South Africa. This acquisition aligns with HCAH’s vision of improving the quality of life for individuals.

Expressing enthusiasm for this trajectory, Vivek Srivastava, Founder and CEO, HCAH India, stated, “The launch of the TCC marks a new chapter that will greatly benefit patients and their families. The new facility in Navi Mumbai will offer long-term acute care, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation services to cater to a significant patient population recovering from trauma, accidents, surgeries, and the growing geriatric community. It represents a continued effort to provide superior care and enhance the quality of life for our patients. Our goal at HCAH is to become the largest player in out-of-hospital care and the leading geriatric care platform within the next five years.”

Adding to this, Dr Gaurav Thukral, Co-founder and COO, HCAH India, commented, “With the introduction of our Transition Care Centre in Navi Mumbai, HCAH has extended its presence across West India, marking a significant step in our mission to provide accessible out-of-hospital care nationwide. This expansion exemplifies HCAH’s commitment to being a vital contributor to healthcare delivery across the entire nation.”
