After 8.5 years with Godrej Group, Pankaj Singh Parihar, Vice President and Head of Digital, Commerce, and Transformation, has opted to leave the international conglomerate. At Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, he was a member of the management team (GCPL).
At GCPL, he was in charge of the digital centre of excellence, which included digital marketing, digital commerce, and digital transformation. For all GCPL brands, he was also in charge of tracking the complete cycle of consumer journeys on digital and digital marketing.
Producing and operating the D2C channel, overseeing digital and growth marketing, establishing a seamless data stack, and driving actionable insights for the company were among his responsibilities at the company. In 2014, Parihar was appointed Associate Vice President and Head of Digital Transformation at Godrej Group.
He possessed a flawless sense of professional judgement in the field of marketing communications before joining Godrej, having worked for brands like Ogilvy, Omnicom Media Group, and The Times Group, among others. He has constantly contributed to Godrej Group’s success as a true blue digital leader by linking the holy trinity of marketing, technology, and customers.
Digital businesses and brands, digital marketing, D2C and e-commerce, scaling up products and platforms, and digital transformation for fast-paced multi-billion dollar corporations are among his areas of expertise.

Parihar joined Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) in 2014 as associate VP and head of digital marketing, transformation, and e-commerce, before being promoted to his current position in 2017.
He was the executive in charge of the company’s digital centre of excellence, which included digital marketing, digital commerce, and digital transformation. He was also in charge of GCPL’s digital consumer journey cycle and digital marketing for all of the company’s brands.
He has worked for organisations such as Ogilvy, Omnicom Media Group, and The Times Group, among others, with over 20 years of expertise. . Pankaj was previously the VP and Business Head – India at OmnicomMediaGroup, as well as the business lead for Unilever India’s digital business and other key clients.
He has previously worked for marketing communications powerhouses such as Ogilvy & Mather, Quasar (WPP Digital), and the Times of India Group. Pankaj also actively participates in and brings thought leadership to many industry groups in India, such as IAMAI, MMA, Ad:tech, and others.
He’s served as a judge and jury member at a number of domestic and international award ceremonies, and he’s spoken about Digital Marketing and Transformation at a number of significant industry events. He also teaches digital marketing at a number of prestigious business institutions, including SP Jain, Symbiosis, and others.
