Pavan Kaushik is a ‘Role Model’ in communication, marketing, and PR

Pavan Kaushik, a renowned corporate communication expert, received the “Top Rankers Excellence Award – Corporate Communication and Public Relations Role Model” at the 22nd National Management Summit, 2022.

The role model award is the greatest honor in Marketing, Corporate Communication, and Public Relations. The award was presented by some esteemed dignitaries.

Pavan Kaushik is a top 3 professional in P.R. and communication, a thought leader in motivational writing, CSR, and social, and an influential leader. Pavan Kaushik heads Corporate Communication & P.R. at M3M India Group.

In his 30-year career, Kaushik has been honored by several organizations and forums. India CSR Network Leadership Summit recognized Kaushik CSR Person of the Year in 2018.

Known for his humility and storytelling skills, He has launched a number of social awareness campaigns, such as “KHUSHI – On care for the deprived children,” “SAKHI – On economic empowerment of rural women,” “Be Safe – On industrial and road safety,” and “MITRA” and “SAARTHI” on aligning social objectives with business objectives of organizations for the benefit of society as a whole.

Pavan Kaushik, in his role as Vice President and Head of Corporate Communication at Hindustan Zinc (A Vedanta Group Company), prioritized the creation of new markets for zinc, lead, and silver as part of his campaign that was titled “We all have Zinc in our lives.’

Before Hindustan Zinc, Pavan was Media Head at NIFT, where he taught journalism and communication and developed a fashion communication program.

He became a Gazetted Officer at 23 and joined MIB as an Assistant Director. During his ten years in the Ministry, Kaushik worked on many national campaigns, including the A new economic policy, rural development, the 50th anniversary of India’s independence, AIDS awareness, Pulse Polio, care for girls, education, women’s empowerment, and the Income Tax are just a few of the many Indian-related events taking place this year. A veteran in Corporate Communication in metal and mining, infrastructure, FMCG, Energy, Oil and Gas, Fashion and Lifestyle, Real Estate and CSR, he’s also an independent consultant for Gerson Lehrman Group Inc. (GLG) on different themes.

If you question him about his path as a communicator and storyteller, he answers, “Success without hardship is a failure.

Communication must be consistent and aligned with corporate objectives, vision, and thought leadership. Content and message drive communication verticals regardless of the type and reach. Never be afraid to learn from your errors. All communicators are thought, leaders. Remember, communication must be communicated.
