India’s homegrown Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL), has announced that it now enables convenient payments for car parking at Delhi AIIMS Hospital using FASTag. With this, visitors to the renowned hospital won’t have to wait in long queues at the parking lot, and can just pay digitally, empowering them with seamless and hassle-free parking experience.
The Bank has partnered with Dhiraj Contractors, the authorized contractor managing the AIIMS parking, in order to curb congestion and queues at the hospital parking. This makes the entry and exit process faster as there is no need to stop and pay at a counter. The RFID technology used in FASTags allows automatic detection and deduction of applicable parking fees, enabling a smoother flow of vehicles in and out of the parking facility.
