Poco has unveiled the launch of the smartphone X5 Pro 5G phone in India at an event scheduled on 6 February at 5:30 p.m. Ahead of the launch, the price of the device was leaked online. The image of the smartphone shared on Twitter by a user shows the alleged pricing of the device. The smartphone will come with a starting price of Rs. 20,999. It is expected to go on sale in the country on February 13 at noon.
Poco X5 Pro 5G is expected to come in three different versions- 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM.
The advertisements also reveal the bank offers available to the buyers. The company says that the customers will get Rs. 2000 off on using ICICI bank cards. About the product: Poco 5X Pro is expected to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+OLED display panel with Dolby vision support. The smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. The device may be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512 GB internal storage capacity. Poco 5X Pro may offer up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1080×2400 pixels resolution, and HDR10+ support. The upcoming Poco 5X Pro is said to offer a 5000mAh battery along with 67-watt fast charging support.
On the camera front, the device offers a 16 MP camera for selfies on the front. The triple rear camera setup may offer a 108 MP primary sensor. It is expected to come in three color options- Yellow, Horizon blue, and Astral black. The smartphone will be available through India’s shopping app Flipkart.
Poco 5X Pro will come with 12-layer graphite dissipation technology. The smartphone runs on Android 12-based MIUI 14. It is equipped with dual stereo speakers. The company offers two years of Android OS updates and three years of security updates. The smartphone is rated 1P52 for dust and water resistance.
