Pratilipi to recreate successful literary content into audiobooks making it more accessible through Audible in India
March 16, 2023: Audible, a leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, and Pratilipi, one of India’s biggest digital storytelling platforms have entered into an agreement. Under this agreement Pratilipi will be adapting its literary bestsellers into audiobooks and audio shows in an 18 month deal that will be exclusively available on the Audible service. Pratilipi will be producing and developing over 300 hours of immersive content for Audible in India. These shows will span a wide variety of genres such as romance, horror, thriller and mystery.
Pratilipi will adapt several bestselling and immensely popular titles from their catalog such as Siyah, Benpanah Ishq, Kothewaali that have collectively been read by over a million people, in addition to four marquee shows featuring some of India’s most celebrated personalities.
