The 175th meeting of the State Level Bankers’ Committee, Tamil Nadu was held on 1st November 2023 under the Chairmanship of Thiru Thangam Thennarasu, Hon’ble Minister for Finance, Human Resources Management, GoTN at Secretariat, Chennai. The meeting was co-chaired by Thiru Sanjay Vinayak Mudaliar – Chairman of SLBC, Tamil Nadu and Executive Director, Indian Overseas Bank. Thiru. N. Muruganandam, IAS. Additional Chief Secretary / Secretary I to CM, Thiru T Udhayachandran, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Finance, GoTN, Smt. Uma Sankar – Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Sm. Jothi Srinivas, General Manager, NABARD, Secretaries, Department Heads, GoTN, District Collectors and LDMs of all the districts, Senior executives/officials from RBI, NABARD, Member Banks, State Government participated in the meeting.
Thiru Mohan M, General Manager, Indian Overseas Bank & Convenor, SLBC-TN, presented the agendas for the meeting.
The performance of the Banks/District under Annual Credit Plan, Agriculture, SHG lending, Education Loan, Housing Loan, MSME, TAHDCO, PM SVANidhi and other Government sponsored schemes for the half Year ended September 2023 were reviewed exhaustively.
The meeting ended with Vote of Thanks by the General Manager, Indian Bank.
