Prime Minister Modi Applauds RPPL’s showrun in Srinagar

Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL), led by Hyderabad-based Akhilesh Reddy, hosted
the exhilarating maiden showrun of the Indian Racing Festival in Srinagar. This marks a
landmark moment in Indian motor racing history, propelling the sport to new heights. The Prime
Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, has shown his support for the RPPL’s showrun on X
(formerly Twitter), stating, “India offers great opportunities for motorsports to thrive, and
Srinagar is right on top of the places where it can happen!”

The Indian Racing Festival 2024, comprising the Indian Racing League (IRL), the FIA-backed
Indian F4 Championship, and the JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship (JKNRC), is
scheduled to kick off later this year. The season will span five rounds for each class, comprising
over ten races throughout the season.

As part of the go-to-market approach aimed at promoting motorsport, RPPL has planned to
organize thrilling roadshows nationwide. Kicking off the season in style, this dynamic
promotional show made its first pit stop in Srinagar in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir
Tourism against the picturesque Dal Lake.
