Pulp, India’s first superfood skincare brand, has launched a line of products called Pulp X Shruti in collaboration with renowned actress Shruti Haasan (PXS).
The PXS line, which will debut with five products at first, is all about empowering women to feel more comfortable in their skin. “We collaborated with Shruti Haasan on the PulpXShruti line with one simple goal in mind: to create a skincare line that defied the traditional definition of skincare.” This line isn’t about the number of active ingredients in the products, how much brighter your skin can become with them, or how much you adore a celebrity. It all comes down to how at ease you are in your own skin. Goutham Uppaluri, Co-Founders of Pulp, said, “This collaboration is a celebration of those who are daring and unconventional, but most importantly, of themselves.”
This collaboration has been in the works for over a year, and navigating through the pandemic, optimizing the products, and finally releasing it has been an exhilarating experience, which we believe the fans will enjoy!
There are five products in the PXS line: three serums, one toner, and a facial mist. These products feature a superstar ingredient called Vitamin F, and we’re super excited to promote the entire line with the tagline ‘What do you give an F about?’ Shruti, a skincare aficionado, has spent a lot of time working with Pulp to create this line, not only in terms of how it looks but also how it feels. Shruthi has teamed up with Pulp to bring her signature underground gothic vibe to the table. This line is inclusive in terms of skincare and progressive thinking, and the celebration of true individuality.
“We’ve always wanted to collaborate with an artist who will respect your authenticity and the skin you’re in.” Shruti has always defied celebrity expectations in her own unique way. From being a style icon to a superstar to a rockstar, she has always been an inspiration to people who felt too different to fit in with society’s expectations. This line embodies that fearlessness,” said Deepti Alapati, Pulp’s Co-Founder.
