Puma India appoints Prabhdeep Bedi as director of D2C e-commerce

Puma India appointed Prabhdeep S Bedi as its new director and head of D2C e-commerce. He will now be responsible for handling the brand’s D2C e-commerce business and its chain of operations, cataloging, technology, customer experience, and account management, the news came out 19th of July.  He will work under the Managing Director of Puma India, Abhishek Ganguly.

An IIT Delhi alumnus (B.Tech + M.Tech in chemical engineering), with an MBA degree from Northwestern University with over seventeen years of experience in various companies, is how qualified Bedi is! He started his journey as an Associate Manager (for two and a half years) and then became the  Department Manager (for one and a half years, almost) at P&G worked there for four years, then became a summer associate at McKinsey and Company for three months and was later promoted to Engagement Manager. After working at McKinsey and Company for around four and a half years he worked in SVP, sales, and marketing (for four years and one month) and then was promoted as the Chief Operating Officer (for nine months) of Toppr Technologies Pvt. Ltd. worked there for four years ten months and then finally reached to this position, as the Director and Head of D2C e-commerce at Puma India.

Talking about his new position, Prabhdeep said how he’s glad to see how Puma has strengthened its hold in the Indian market in such a short span of time. He was optimistic about the rapid growth of e-commerce globally and looks forward to forming new strategies for better growth of the brand with his new team. Lastly, he said that he’s thrilled to join the team and be a part of such an exciting phase in the company’s growth trajectory.
