The job-specific-skilling and tech employment marketplace for employers and high-tech job seekers, BridgeLabz joins hands with cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin, as its new brand ambassador. R Ashwin will represent BridgeLabz in various capacities.
BridgeLabz is an AWS-recognized incubator in India that gives focus on solving the problem in tech employability. For the past few years, over 2000 engineers have been hired from BridgeLabz and have worked with about 500 top tech companies like JDA, Capgemini, Meru Cabs, Urban Ladder, LafargeHolcim, Yatra, and Fullerton India. BridgeLabz also provides a Job Guarantee Fellowship program which is a 16-week tech-intensive program to help the deserving candidate secure high-paying tech jobs.
Ravichandran Ashwin is better known as the Indian international cricket star. He is one of the fastest Indian bowlers and also an all-rounder who bats right-handed. R Ashwin, as he joined forces with BridgeLabz commented that “as he is a graduate in B.Tech Information Technology, BridgeLabz is not just any brand, but an innovation that would pave way for a radical change in the placement and custom skilling of engineers”. BridgeLabz aims to provide a platform where every engineer can gain employment and be a part of the new-age digital technology workforce that would help them relevant. He also added that BridgeLabz provides a game-changing approach by using experimental learning and job skilling.
The founder of BridgeLabz, Mr. Narayan Mahadevan said that “the association of Ashwin with BridgeLabz is more than a simple brand endorsement”. BridgeLabz is completely committed to voicing out the current social problem that is prevalent in our society. They also believe that the problem of employability can be completely solved with an experimental learning process. He also added that BridgeLabz is quite delighted to work with an amazing cricketer like Ramachandran Ashwin. As he is also an engineer, it makes it easy for him to understand and sympathize with the trials and tribulations faced by job seekers. He also said that R Ashwin is the right choice as an ambassador as he symbolizes passion, grit, and the willingness to experiment with anything with a never-say-die approach.
