Rachna Bahadur has been appointed as Senior Vice President to spearhead BYJU’s Global Expansion initiatives. In her new role, Rachna will be in charge of the entire planning, strategy, and roadmap for BYJU’s expansion into new and existing markets.
This appointment improves BYJU’s leadership across verticals as the company works to build world-class products, teams, and partnerships. Rachna will be in charge of expanding the footprint of BYJU’s recent acquisition of EPIC in the US market, as well as building BYJU’s next growth phase, forging new alliances, reinforcing sales, and solidifying the company’s market position globally.

Rachna has over 15 years of experience and formerly worked as a Partner at Bain & Company, where she was a leader in the consumer product business. She also co-led the India branch of ‘Women @ Bain,’ which attempts to create an inclusive and gender non-conforming (GNC) environment for women to thrive.
She has advised major Indian and MNC FMCGs at Bain on themes such as market entry, growth strategy, marketing, sales, M&A, and organizational design.
Rachna earned a B.A. (Hons) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School of Business. Rachna, a regular yoga practitioner, has also developed a deep interest in painting and painting herself. She also enjoys learning about other culture and cuisines.
