Through Apna communities, users have been able to expand their professional networks, upskill through peer learning, and find work and gig opportunities. Apna’s communities facilitated over 37 million peer-to-peer professional conversations over the holiday season.

Apna has appointed Rahul deorah as their company’s marketing director. The hiring, according to the corporation, is in line with its aim to develop world-class leadership in order to accelerate corporate growth.

Rahul, a graduate of the Indian School of Business and the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC, University of Delhi), has over 12 years of expertise in consumer internet, FMCG, and entrepreneurship. Over the years, Rahul has worked in a variety of industries, including beauty, men’s grooming, wellness, home services, and consumer goods.

In his previous role at Urban Company, he was responsible for the company’s GTM strategy and execution in India, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore. He came from Urban Company, where he was responsible for the company’s strategy and execution in India, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

Deorah, who has 12 years of sales and marketing expertise, began his career at Godrej in the sales and marketing department, where he stayed for three years and ten months.
