Nov 12, 2012: RailTel is planning to widen the footprint and offer broadband network in Bangladesh and Bhutan. They are on the verge of getting the deal to deploy broadband network worth Rs 80 crores and Rs 10 crores respectively in two countries. RailTel is a subsidiary of Indian Railways which was set up to help mobile operators in India offer broadband services in rural India.
