Rapido is one of the first bike rental services launched in India and has crossed over 25 million application downloads and has its presence in over 100 cities across the country.
Rapido bike taxi on Wednesday has announced that it will be expanding its services to six more cities. The cities are as follows Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Jaipur. The company with its newly launched services aims to cater to the customers having to fulfill tasks in multiple locations without making them go through numerous booking and waiting periods.
The company will be offering its services in different packages in multiple duration such as 1hours, 2hours, 3hours,4hours, 6hours. The base plan will start at Rs 99 for a 1-hour distance up to 10 kilometers and Rs 599 for 6 hours up to a distance of 60 kilometers.
The customer will be made available with a dedicated riding partner called the Rapido driver-partner during the whole course of the trip and is enabled by default for Rental. The company has also introduced a new policy that allows the customers to cancel the ride free of any cost if the riding partner or customer is not wearing a mask. Aravind Sanka co-founder of Rapido during the launch of Rapido rental spoke about the company identifying the rising need for an affordable, accessible, and multi-stop ride among customers specifically the high usage ones, he further adds that the main focus of the company will be aimed at catering and addressing the needs and problems faced by high usage customers. The multi-point travel users will be benefitted by allowing them to do short stopovers to pick few items from a single local shop to multiple shops, work-related travel, comprehensive shopping, and house hunting
