Nov 15, 2012: Microsoft which launched its new video game last week Microsoft Action Shooter Halo 4 has recorded global sales of USD 220 million on the launch day. With this big bang release Halo 4 has become the biggest ever launch of the Halo franchise series and is said to gross nearly USD 300 million in its first week. Halo 4 has surpassed the overall collection garnered by Halo: Reach which was the fourth game in the series. Halo: Reach had recorded sales of USD 200 million on the launch day. This game is designed by Microsoft Game Studios which ventured into gaming with the launch of first Xbox in 2001.
