September 16, 2014: With the festive season fast approaching it is the time of the year when the manufacturers in almost all the segments come up with their new range of offerings, attractive discounts and more in order to lure the consumers. The same way, automaker Ford has kicked off the celebrations for the year by introducing the refreshed Figo that brings a slew of updates to both exterior and interior.
When it comes to the exterior, the refreshed Ford Figo comes with the ‘smoky stealth’ trim finish for its 14 inch alloy wheels and the fog lamp housing as well. Powered rear view mirrors along with integrated turn indicators occupy the hatchback. On the other hand, internally, the car gets several additions such as centre console, dual tone seats and door pad handles.
Apart from this, the Ford Figo is still equipped with the best-in class AC and features the largest boot space among its competitors in the Indian automobile market. This will make the refreshed model a great value for money offering. Furthermore, the hatch also comes incorporated with a Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth smartphone integration feature that makes enticing.
Talking of the mechanical capabilities, the refreshed model is similar to the original offering with a 1.2 litre four cylinder petrol model with the ability to pump in 70 bhp of power and 102 Nm of torque respectively. On the flip side, the diesel variant of the revamped Ford Figo arrives with a 1.4 litre engine rendering a maximum power of 68 bhp and a maximum torque of 160 Nm respectively. A 5 speed gearbox is teamed up with both the petrol and diesel models.
The refreshed Ford Figo with these aforementioned aspects comes in eight vibrant colors such as Kinetic Blue, Moondust Silver, Diamond White, Chill Metallic, Smoke Grey, Panther Black and two colors Mars Red and Paprika Red.
Ford has priced the petrol model of the refreshed Figo at between Rs 3.87 lakh and Rs 5.14 lakh, whereas the diesel variant is priced between Rs 4.83 lakh and Rs 6.09 lakh and these are the ex-showroom pricing inNew Delhi. It is interesting that Ford has not hiked up the price tag of the vehicle despite adding upgrades to it.
