Reliance Retail Ventures Limited added a new brand to its portfolio. RRVL has bought a 100 per cent stake in amanté. MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka was the sole owner of the lingerie brand amanté.
MAS Holdings, Sri Lanka started amanté in 2008. MAS manufactures and distributes the lingerie brands ‘amanté’, ‘Ultimo’ and ‘every dé by amanté’ to wholesaler and retailer.
RRVL will collaborate and partner with MAS to utilize its capabilities from designing to production and to ensure sustainable manufacturing and innovation.
The final acquisition amount is not yet disclosed. RRVL is proud to add the high quality, design-led fashion and lifestyle brand ‘amante’ to its portfolio, said Isha Ambani, Director, Reliance Retail Ventures.
MAS sells its premium products through stores and multi-brand outlets. The brand also operates e-commerce channels in India and Sri Lanka.
Reliance Retail acquired stocks of amanté to maximize its capacity and outreach. Reliance believes that superior quality products of amanté will satisfy its customers and will ensure value proposition.
MAS is a well-known product designer and manufacturer and operates some of the iconic global brands in the segment. Brands like ‘amanté’, ‘Ultimo’ and ‘every dé by amanté is a valuable addition to RRVL’s portfolio.
The acquisition will benefit both parties, amanté would benefit from Reliance’s scale and retail expertise. The acquisition will not impact brand or employee stability. They will benefit from the wide outreach of RRVL.
