‘#RishtonKiBoli’, Diwali campaign by Reliance Digital

Light has been adopted as a ceremonial and religious symbol for ages, whether in ancient civilizations or modern religions. Diwali, a five-day festival, known in the West as the Festival of Lights, is one of India’s most significant times of the year, rejoicing the victory of light over darkness.

Reliance Digital‘s season’s celebratory campaign, #RishtonKiBoli, was created and implemented by 21N78E Creative Labs is waiting forward to the festival of lights, which has begun to evoke excitement and enthusiasm.  #RishtonKiBoli, emphasises the importance of embracing the enduring value of connections, both ancient and contemporary.

The commercial begins with a worried mother waiting for her child. She tried calling him but was disappointed, so she complained to her husband. Later, she is overjoyed when her son pays her a surprise visit.

Another family was filmed in the advertisement, this time with granny and her favourites. The advertisement depicts how individuals are grateful to one another and remain connected virtually even when they are unable to meet in person.

The advertisement ends up with the joy of celebrating Diwali together with family. The light is an integral part of Diwali, the ad shows the spirit of celebrating with lights and crackers.

Throughout the celebration of Diwali, little clay oil lights are put at the thresholds of homes, stores, and offices in both the city and the countryside to commemorate the Hindu god Lord Rama’s 14-year exile and return to his realm. His people, according to legend, greeted his return by lighting diyas.
