While the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 replaces the 350X Royal Enfield Thunderbird, the earlier is entirely different from the latter. A completely new 349cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-oil cooled engine with an EFI (electronic fuel injection) system comes with the Meteor 350. 20.2bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque is produced by the motor. It is paired with a traditional 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.
Even the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350’s chassis and suspension are new. A twin downtube spine frame lies on the cruiser. Telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks with 6-step adjustable preload at the rear perform the suspension functions. The front has a tubeless tyre with a 19-inch alloy wheel, while the rear has a tubeless tyre with a 17-inch alloy wheel. There is a 300 mm disc with a twin-piston floating calliper on the front and a 270 mm disc with a single-piston floating calliper on the back. Dual-channel ABS is available as well.
A rounded halogen headlamp with LED DRL is featured in the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Chrome turn indicators surround the headlamp. The front has a fender made of plastic. The cluster of twin-pod instruments looks nice and is a blend of analogue and digital displays. The new Meteor 350 also gets Bluetooth connectivity and tripper navigation (turn-by-turn navigation). You’ll come across a metal mudguard and an LED taillamp at the rear. The windscreen and twin-seat design enhance the cruiser’s style quotient.
In the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350, there are seven colour choices in total. In both Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red, the Meteor 350 Fireball is available. Stellar Red, Stellar Black and Stellar Blue get the Meteor 350 Stellar. Supernova Brown (dual-tone) and Supernova Blue (dual-tone) have the Meteor 350 Supernova.
