Jan 10, 2013: It is said that whatever is touched by Salman Khan turns into gold and that is precisely what Britannia is trying to do by roping him as the brand ambassador of Tiger Brand of biscuits. Fresh after the success of back to back blockbuster movies, Britannia has taken in Salman Khan as the brand ambassador to repeat his magic for its biscuits range as well. Britannia relaunched its glucose and other variants of Britannia biscuits with the tagline ‘Roz Badho’ (Grow each day). The new advertisement says that the biscuits have 25 per cent daily growth nutrients. Britannia leads the glucose segment with 80% market share but the market share of Tiger is only 8 per cent.
