Samir Menon and Moksh Chopra are elevated by KFC

Today, KFC India, a well-known QSR company, made significant leadership changes in India. With effect from July 15, 2022, Moksh Chopra has been promoted as General Manager of KFC India BMU (Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives). He replaces Samir Menon, who will assume the regional position of MENAPakT (Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, Turkey), and India’s Managing Director. Along with the strong leadership team, Samir and Moksh have played a key role in KFC’s outstanding achievement in India.

When starting in his new position, Moksh Chopra remarked, “We are known for serving Finger Lickin’ delicious food, done correctly. I feel delighted and honored to be in charge of the brand’s Indian mandate. With revolutionary products, a footprint of more than 600 restaurants, a strengthened regional outreach, greater access, and improved customer experiences, we have been significantly accelerating growth in the Indian market. I’m excited to increase KFC’s relevance while preserving the brand’s uniqueness in and with India.

Speaking about his action Samir Menon stated, “I am honored and thrilled to be able to lead the strategy for KFC’s MENAPakT & India region’s next stage of growth. I look forward to leading our worldwide strategy and achieving long-term, sustainable growth for the brand, our people, franchisee partners, and customers even as we continue to build on the strategic roadmap for India. With his extensive experience and superior strategic thinking, Moksh has distinguished himself as an outstanding leader for the KFC India BMU and will continue to develop the company’s potential.

Samir’s leadership resulted in breakthrough growth for the KFC India BMU. The company has become a dominant QSR player in each nation in the region as a result of its heart-driven leadership and commitment to excellence. Moksh Chopra has successfully managed and implemented a winning strategy for the brand’s success throughout all of the markets in the area during his time as chief marketing officer, regularly generating sales and category-leading brand KPIs. Since they have both been connected to the brand for more than ten years, Samir and Moksh have worked closely with the forward-thinking leadership team to develop the India business’s long-term strategy and growth plan.
