Starbucks has had many collaborations with various artists and brands around the world. The last one was with Indian designer Sabyasachi, who launched limited edition cups and mugs with subtle prints in India.
And now another collaboration from an Indian coffee chain managed by the Tata Group has taken the tech collaboration world by storm.
Starbucks has partnered with South Korean tech giant Samsung to release special edition themed cases for their phones – the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra and Galaxy Buds.
The cases are designed in a unique way with four variants. Among them, one design has the logo of the coffee chain, the other design resembles the classic Starbucks apron.
The third version resembles a Starbucks receipt. Finally, one designer suitcase features the phrase “Count the stars in your galaxy”
However, the most atypical design is the Galaxy Buds 2. They are custom made and designed to look like a Starbucks coffee cup with a tiny handle and amazing latte art. This was one of the most innovative designs for buds from any brand.
Today, Starbucks has 272 stores in 29 Indian cities, and according to The Times of India, it reported a 76% increase in revenue in FY22 – Rs 636 crore.
Since its debut in India, Starbucks has become an indispensable part of some people’s lives and an aspiration for another set of consumers.
Another design for their Galaxy Buds case features a simple yet smart dark green case with the brand logo.
While Starbucks has had its fair share of high-profile collaborations in the past, Samsung has also had some notable tech collaborations.
But this one was catchy and pleasing to the eye, with many expressions of love.
According to Samsung, all Starbucks-themed accessories are made from eco-friendly materials.
However, the flip side is that this collaboration was only for the South Korean market. At the time of launch, he was unsure of their launch in other markets.
