Nov 23, 2012: In a move which will make the mobile phone devices lighter, thinner and more over unbreakable, Samsung is all ready to launch its smartphones with bendable phone displays. According to a report by Wall Street Journal, Samsung is ready to begin the production of these smart phones which uses plastic instead of glass. The plastic displays which are in the testing phase makes the panel lighter, which in turn will also bring down the weight of the smartphone. These flexible panels will continue to have the OLED display technology. It needs to be seen how sooner Samsung comes out with this product, as a previous attempt by LG and Sony who have showcased their displays with plastic earlier had failed to commence mass production.
