October 9, 2013: Samsung Electronics Co which is working on wearable devices with flexible screens moved an inch closer to its dream by launching a Galaxy Note smartphone with curved display. The phone which would be available through its biggest mobile carrier SK Telecom would cost USD 1,000.
Galaxy Round which has got 5.7 inch display weighs less than Galaxy Note 3. This revolutionary hand set has got a slight horizontal curve and because it’s less bulky it can be comfortably held in hand by the users.
Other companies like LG are also working on similar flexible screens and there are reports that LG is working on a vertically curved display and they have plans to unveil it in the month of November.
