On Monday, the German technology giant SAP AG started its project on metaverse with the intention of increasing the rate at which Indian businesses adopt cloud computing. Customers in different stages of their digital transformation will be able to experience the full range of ‘Rise with SAP’ offerings thanks to SAP’s ‘cloud on wheels’ platform, which is aimed at digital-first customers. This will allow customers to “reimagine” their businesses, according to SAP “procedures for the purpose of achieving better business results.
SAP has been using a technology known as digital twins, which are virtual representations of real-world structures, capital goods, and industrial processes, to assist clients in gaining insights into and predicting the outcomes of real-world events. Through its expansion into the metaverse, SAP intends to implement steps to support digital B2B services such as Rise with SAP, SAP’s Digital Core, Procurement, Customer, and People Experience solutions.
“The Metaverse is a reflection of the modern experience economy, which offers a platform for experiencing things in ways that have never been possible before. We expect that by utilising it, we will be able to change different aspects of our customer experience and develop a network of cloud enterprises that are sustainable within a universe that is completely digital. Throughout the course of this year, one of our primary goals is to interact with hundreds of different organisations by means of this platform “Kulmeet Bawa, who serves as president and managing director of SAP for the Indian subcontinent, made this statement.
Since Facebook repositioned itself as a meta platform, other technology businesses from around the world have been quick to jump on board the bandwagon of the metaverse. Even Indian information technology service providers such as Infosys Ltd. and Tech Mahindra Ltd. have begun working on their very own metaverse projects.
“customers will be immersed into an outside-in view of SAP solutions based on their business profile, industry, and size, ” according to the metaverse experience platform, users will be able to say, “SAP said. “Both existing and prospective customers have the ability to construct their own digital avatars, which will provide them with a first-person perspective on how they can expedite their cloud migration and digital transformation activities. They will gain first-hand experience of key SAP cloud services to satisfy their business objectives and also facilitate relationships with other customers who are already utilising the platform.”
