Saregama is one of the oldest and largest music labels from Mumbai, with a whole lot of eminent, magical and virtuosos of the music industry from different languages from across the globe. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an extraordinary instigator whose visual artistry, grandiose is evident only through his flawless and Ruritanian storytelling and his brilliant skills in understanding music.
Saregama and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have now decided to work together, where the Saregama comes on board as the music partner for his three upcoming projects that are lined up in the award-winning filmmaker’s list. One of these projects that is much awaited and discussed among the audience is the Gangubai Kathiawadi which is starred by Alia Bhatt. The musical rights of this project are acquired from Pen Studios. Bhansali’s next untitled project, which will also be his first non-Hindi movie will have the music composition done by him.
While talking about this new partnership with Saregama, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that “Many of his childhood memories are connected to that of him listening to the golden Hindi classics of all times, and according to him while listening to Saregama’s golden classics he gets reminded of his childhood days and it takes him to his imaginary world and he remains there for a while with a smile on his face with a heart full of love. He also says that these songs and music were of so much help and was some of the essentials during his formative years. He is so much delighted and blessed to have such a moment in his life where the music composition of three of his most zealous projects in the coming future will become a part of the rich legacy of Saregama. Hence this collaboration is so much special for me, and personal one”.
