SBI appoints Debasish Mishra as Chief General Manager of New Delhi circle

Delhi, November 2, 2024: State Bank of India (SBI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Debasish Mishra as the Chief General Manager of its New Delhi Circle, effective November 1, 2024. With a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Mishra brings a wealth of experience across Credit, Operations, Forex, IT, HR, and MSME sectors, both in India and overseas. His significant contributions include pioneering initiatives like the establishment of Start-Up branches at IIIT Hyderabad and IIT Madras, and leading 3,245 business solutions at the Bank level. A Certified Financial Planner and Chevening Gurukul Scholar, Mr. Mishra’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as SBI’s New Delhi Circle, comprising over 1,700 branches, aims to reinforce its market position in alignment with the nation’s growth.
